Bernard has many years experience of residential conveyancing, with special expertise in "buy to let" transactions and mortgages, and the law relating to property development. Bernard has prepared many legal documents for new building estates in Suffolk and dealt with land plot sales ranging from small to large developments.

He has experience of commercial conveyancing, including leases of shops and business units; and of advising on and drafting wills.

Bernard also specialises in matrimonial conveyancing and transfers of equity.
