Cartwright Cunningham Haselgrove & Co is a long-established firm practising many areas of law. We have offices situated in North East London and Essex.

Organisation of the Firm — Team Work

Our lawyers are organised into teams according to their specialist areas of law, which enables them to pool their experience and support each other during holidays and with second opinion on difficult points. However, as our client you will have your own lawyer and will not experience the never speaking to the same person problem.

Company & Commercial Department

Includes the sale or acquisition of a business, business leases, setting up companies, terms of trading, partnership agreements, shareholders disputes.

Headed by Geoffrey Gayer, this department is based at our Woodford Green office and includes Nigel Smith and Philip Fitzroy; in addition, Commercial Conveyancing can be undertaken by David Offord and Bernard Klingher at Walthamstow.

Residential Property Department

Includes buying and selling houses and flats, leases, mortgage, searches, estate development.

This department is headed by David Offord , but for your convenience in visiting us the work can be undertaken at either of our offices:

Family Department

Includes divorce and legal separation, disputes involving joint property, residence and contact with children.

The department is headed by Mark Goldstein at Woodford Green and at Walthamstow we have Claudette Terrode.

Litigation Department

Includes all kinds of contract and business disputes, property and building litigation, partnership and shareholder disputes, debt recovery, landlord and tenant disputes, contentious probate.

This department is at our Woodford Green office: Nigel Smith, Philip Fitzroy and Mark Goldstein.

Personal Injury Department

Includes injury in road traffic accidents, accidents at work and in public places. Also injury due to medical negligence.

This department is based at Woodford Green under the direction of Mark Goldstein.

Employment Department

Includes employment contracts, compromise agreements, disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancy, unfair dismissal, discrimination claims, problems at work.

Nigel Emery heads this department, which is based at our Woodford Green office.

Wills & Probate Department

Includes will drafting, trust creation, tax planning, administration and distribution of estates.

Our Probate Department is headed by John Mayo at our Walthamstow office.
